5. Shake the toner cartridge three or four
times to even out the toner inside.
6. Hold the toner cartridge horizontally with
the label facing front (toward the control
panel). The side that indicates the toner
color comes to the left.
Insert the cartridge into the printer, aligning
the arrow on its left side with the arrow on
the printer.
7. Firmly push in the toner cartridge until it
stops, and rotate it. The mark on the
toner cartridge and the mark on the
printer align.
8. Close the top cover by firmly pressing its
center.
Important
• The top cover will not close unless the toner cartridge
is installed correctly. In such case, reinstall the toner
cartridge.
