General Trouble
Check the status of your machine again before contacting us.
WARNING
Precision components are used in the construction of this device.
Therefore, do not opens the panels and covers fixed with screws except for areas
specified in the manual. For opening the panels or covers fixed with screws to
mount/demount options, follow the instructions in each manual.
Do not make any alteration to this machine or change components for use, to avoid
accidental fire or smoke.
Symptoms Check Remedy
Power is not
turned on.
Is the power breaker (main
power switch) or the power
switch of the machine
turned on?
Turn on the power breaker (main power
switch) and the power switch.

Is the plug connected to a
receptacle?
Turn the power and the power breaker
(main power switch) off and connect the
power cord firmly. Then turn the power
breaker (main power switch) and the power
on again.

Is the power cord discon-
nected from the machine?
Is the voltage of power sup-
ply proper for the machine?
Ensure that the power supply is AC208-
240V/13 A.

Touch screen is
not bright
enough.
Is the <Power Saver> but-
ton turned on?
The machine is in the Power Saver mode.
Press the <Power Saver> button on the
control panel to cancel the Power Saver
mode.

Is [Backlight Off] set to
[Same as Auto Clear] in the
System Settings?
Press any button on the Control Panel or
touch the touch screen.

Is the brightness dial set too
low?
Adjust the display brightness using the
brightness dial.

Message is dis-
played.
Has a paper jam occurred?
See • "Paper Jams" (P.187).
Has an document jam
occurred?
See • "Document Jams" (P.186).
Is the message "Please
wait..." displayed?
If the message is displayed for more than 4
minutes, contact your Fuji Xerox Customer
Support Centre.
