Fuser Settings
The temperature and the idle of the fuser can be
set.
A Fuji Xerox customer engineer will set them.
 Fuser Temp Settings
Select [Auto Select] or [Manual Select].
[Manual Select] allows you to set the tempera-
ture of the fuser from Low to High in seven steps.
Note • [Manual Select] functions for media loaded on
the Manual Feed Tray.
When the [Maintain Settings] checkbox is
selected, the settings of the temperature are
saved even after the power is turned on or off.
When not selected, [Auto Select] is enabled after the power is turned on/off.
 Fuser Idle
The fuser will be idled before operation for better
fusing of the toner when printing on thick media
or vellum.
Press [Start] to rotate the Fuser Roller for 30
seconds.
