Power synchronization starts when the connection is complete. Check that power synchronization performs nor-
mally.
■ Adding five or more ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems
To add five or more ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems, cascade the power synchronized units by adding another
power synchronized unit.
The procedure is described below.
1 Set the required settings for power synchronization of the ETERNUS DX/AF storage systems that
are to be added.
For details about the ETERNUS DX/AF settings, refer to "Setting the ETERNUS DX/AF" (page 44).
2 Install the power synchronized unit that is to be added in the rack.
For details about how to install a power synchronized unit, refer to "Installing a Power Synchronized Unit"
(page 35).
3 Turn on the added power synchronized unit.
For details about how to turn on a power synchronized unit, refer to "Turning on the Power Synchronized
Unit" (page 48).
