9 PR-Port Manager
9.1 Overview
This installs the Popup Status Monitor and print client software for printing directly from Windows via the
LAN interface.
9.2 Installation
Installation Procedure:
(1) Insert the supplied FP-1000 Setup Disk into the PC’s CD-ROM drive.
A menu window may open automatically after you insert the disk. In this case, click the [Exit] button
to exit the installer.
(2) Click the Windows [Start] button to open the menu and then click [Run].
* On Windows 7 or Vista, click the
Windows logo button in the lower-left corner of the desktop
screen and then click [All Programs] [Accessories] [Run].
In the “Open” field, enter “D:\Data\Utility\LAN\Prmanager\Prsetup.exe” or click the [Browse]
button and select “D:\Data\Utility\LAN\Prmanager\Prsetup.exe”.
Next, click the [OK] button.
Note 1: In this example, the CD-ROM is drive D:. Change this to match the drive name
on your computer.
(3) The installer starts and displays the PR-PortManager installation wizard. Follow the displayed
instructions to perform the installation.
(4) From the final wizard screen, specify whether you want to continue to add a port.
