8-4. Cleaning the Cutter Blade and Frame
If the printer printed on full-sheet label paper, any adhesive matter
adhering to the cutter blade and frame must be removed.
Even when label paper has been cut normally, clean the cutter blade at an
interval of about once a month to ensure stability in cutting.
Warning: Although the edge of the cutter blade is not as sharp as the edges
of utility knives generally used in offices, there is a risk of injury
to a hand or finger that is moved while pressed against the
cutter blade edge. Take care to avoid injury when cleaning the
cutter blade.
