The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following modular bay devices can be operated in the modu lar bay of yo ur notebook:
• Second hard disk drive
• DVD Super Multi
• Weight saver
Only use modular bay devices de signed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the modular bay device.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the modular bay.
You c an swap modular bay devices during operation. This means you
do not need to switch off the notebook.
Log off the modular bay device via the corresponding symbol in th e task ba r.
The mod ular bay device can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.

► Slide the release mechanism (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold.
► Pull the mod ular bay device (2) out of the modular bay.
