Troubleshooting and tips
The Standby function has been deactivated in the BIOS Setup.
► Restart the notebook (ON/OFF switch or warm start) to call the BIOS Setup.
► When the text <ESC> Diagnostic screen <F12> Boot Menu <F2> BIOS Setup
appears, press the F2 key immediately.
► Activate the Standby function in the Power menu.
Radio connection to a network does not function
The ON/OFF switch for the wireless LAN/Bluetooth module is in the "ON" position.
Nevertheless, the radio connection to a network does not function.
► Check whether the radio connection is switched on via the software.

Detailed information on using Bluetooth is provided on the CD for your Bluetooth software

The mouse does not work
If the connected mouse does not work, it can have the following reasons:
Touchpad driver is not installed properly
► Deinstall the touchpad driver.
► Install the actual driver from the "Drivers & Utilities" CD/DVD.
Mouse driver is not loaded
► Check whether the correct mouse driver is properly installed and is present before the
application programme is started.
Detailed information can be found in the User guides for the mouse or application programme.
Mouse is not connected
► Switch the notebook off.
► Check whether the mouse cable is correctly connected to the notebook.
If you use an adapter or extension lead with the mouse cable, check the connections.
► Switch the notebook on.
