Installing ExpressCard
► Insert the ExpressCard in the upper slot guide with the connection contacts first.
► Gently push the ExpressCard into the slot until you feel it click into place.
Please see the documentation on the ExpressCard for driver installation instructions.
Also observe the corresponding information files (e.g.
*.TXT,
i
T *.DOC, *.WRI, *.HLP or
*.PDF) on the driver CD and in the user manual of the operating system.
You can push the ExpressCard slot eject button into the notebook casing. Press the eject
button until it snaps in. This prevents the ExpressCard from being ejected accidentally.
Removing ExpressCard
With the symbol in the task bar you can stop the ExpressCard:
► Left-click on the icon.
► Select the ExpressCard you want to stop and remove.
► Press the Enter key.
Wait for the dialogue box which tells you that it is now safe to remove the ExpressCard.
