Using the stylus (only devices with Dual Digitizer)

You can use th e st ylus on your notebook as an electronic writing implement to select
items and to navigate through menu opti ons and programs. Programs that support
handwriting recognition also allow you to wr ite characters directly on th e screen with
thepen. Youcanalsousethestylusasadrawingtool.
The notebook stylus is retained securely in its s lot. This ensures that the stylus ca nnot be
lost, regardless of whether you use the notebook as a Tablet PC or as a notebook, or carry it
while traveling. Always replace the stylus in the slot when you are not using it. To remove from
the slot, slide the stylus removal button at the front o f the device to the right.
The notebook is supplied with a stylus tether which you can attach to the
eyelets on the stylus and on the notebook.
