SIM card (con figuration dependent)
A SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is a chip c ard which is inserted in a m obile phone or
notebook and, together with an integrated UMTS/LTE module, enables access to a mobile network.
When handling S IM cards, follow the instructions supplied by the provider.
Inserting the SIM card
► Rem ove the battery, see "Removing the battery", Page 48.

► Pull the S
IM card holder out of the slot (1).
► Remove the SIM card carrier (2).
► Ins e rt t
he SIM card as shown in the diagram into the SIM card carrier (3).
► Place the SIM card carrier with the SIM card onto the SIM card holder (4).
► Slide t
he SIM c ard holder back into its slot (5).
