pen movements

► Calibrate the pen as show n under Hardware
and Sound / Tablet PC Settings in the Contr ol
Panel, see "
Setting the pen", Page 37 and

Calibrating the pen", Page 37.
Pen input not working

Troubleshooting
Incorrect driver installed.
► If your device is one which can only be
operated using the pen, install the driver for
the standard model.
or
► If your device is on e which can be
operated using the p en and by finger,
install the driver for the "Dual Digitizer"
model.
The pe n is in pow er-saving mode. ► Press the pen button gently to wake the pen
from sleep mode.
The pen b attery is completely discharged.
► Insert the pen fully into its slot on the
notebook to charge the pen battery.
The notebook cannot be started

The battery is not installed correctly.
► Check whether the battery is installed
correctly in its compartm ent.
► Switch the notebo ok on.
The battery is de ad.
► Charge the battery.
or
► Insert a charged battery.
or
► Connect the mains adapter to the
notebook.
The power adapter is not connected correctly.
► Check w hether the mains adapter is
connected correctly to the notebo ok.
► Switch the notebo ok on.
