Auto installation su pp ort for t he software downloaded fro m t he support
website (not available for Windows 10 S)
For Windows 10 S configura tions, Auto Insta llation is not supported. Also, for
Windows 10 S, software may not be uploaded to the support site. Users with the
factory image are expected to obtain software from the Windows Store.
1. Download FSDM (Fujitsu Software Download Man ager) from the supp ort site and download all
the drivers applicable to the model and OS using FSDM if they are not downloaded yet.
2. When the s oftw are pa ckages are dow nloaded from the web, it is important to
download the A uto Installer Software package and the model/language-specific
Readme file if you prefer to auto install the s oftware.
3. It is important t o have the extracted Au to Installer software package folder and
Readme file in the same location as the other software folders. Otherwise
auto-installation of the soft ware will not be supported.
4. Inside the Auto Installer software package, launch FjAutoinstall.exe as administrator.
5. Click Yes on the User Account Control dialog box. This will take some time to
process the software packages. A message will be displayed during this time
stating Please wait while the content is being processed.
6. If the EULA is displayed for Fujitsu Software Auto Installer, accept the EULA, otherwise continue.
7. The Fujitsu Software Auto Installer user i nterf ace will be launched providing the ability
to auto i nst all the software downloaded from th e support site.
8. It is recommended that you install all the softw are in the listed order. You can
Select All, to in stall the software in the order listed.
9. Click the Install button to start the installation.
10. Afte r installing all the selected drivers, the Installation Results window is disp layed. Click OK.
11. You must restart the system for the settin gs to take effect. Do you wish to reboot
now? message appears. Select Yes.
12. T he system will now reboot.
Downloadi
ng driver updates
In Windows 10 S configurations, driver updates might currently not be uploaded
to the support site. Users with the fact ory image are expected to obtain driver
updates via Windows Update, and Apps from Windows Store.
To ensur
e that you always have the most current driver updates related to your system,
you shou
ld occa sionally access the Fujitsu Software Download Manager (FSDM) utility.
The FSD
M u tility is available from the Fujitsu Support site. FSDM will allow you to view
and dow
nload the most current drivers, utilities and applications to determine whether
you hav
e the latest versions. To download the FSDM utility, go to the support site:
