Hot Keys and functio n keys
The upper key row on the keyboard is labeled with Hot Key and function key icons:

Hot Keys
HotKeys
The symbols on the top of the keys represent Hot Keys.
The Hot Keys are used to turn on/off and control notebook functions (such as speakers,
microphone, volume, and brightness). Hot Keys are co mfort functions.
The Hot Keys can be activated as the primary key function when Windows
starts (see Chapter "
F-Lock setting", Page 46).
