The HDMI p ort on your notebook or the optional dock can be used to connect an external
amplifier, LCD TV or a plasma TV with an HDMI connection.

Connecting USB devices
USBports
On the U SB ports you can connect external devices that also have a USB port
(e.g. a DVD drive, a printer, a scanner or a modem).
USB devices are ho t-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconnect the
cables of USB devices while the operating system is running.
USB 1.x has a maximum data tran sfer rate of 12 Mbps.
USB 2.0 has a data transfer rate of up to 480 M bps.
USB 3.0 has a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps.
USB 3.1 generation 1 has a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s.
USB 3.1 generation 2 has a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s.

Device drivers
USB devices w ill be automatically recognized and installed by your operating system.
