Your device has an infra-red c amera (1) and a tablet mode camera (2).
The infra-red camera enab les a uthentication with Microsoft Wi ndows Hello.
The tablet mode camera ena bles pictures to be taken with the monitor
folded open while the device is in table mode.

Depending on the software you are used, you can use the cameras to record
photos or videos, or to participate in WebChat.
Every camera has its own sta tus display. Each status display only lights up while the camera is active.
• The picture quality depends on the lighting conditions and the software being used.
• In each c ase, you can only operate the camera with one application ( e.g. an Internet
telephony program or a v ideo-conference program that supports a camera).
• When using the camera, the Notebook support must not wobble.
• The camera adapts automatically to ambient lighting conditions. For that reason, the LCD
monitor ma y flicker while it is adjusting to tho se lighting conditions.
