5.1.2 Emulator Interface
The emulator interface can be terminated if the in-circuit-emulator (ICE) is not used.
Jumper Setting Description
USER – INITX INITX is controlled by the evaluation board S14
INITX
INITX – ICE INITX is controlled by the emulator
USER – TRSTX TRSTX is controlled by the evaluation board S15
TRSTX
TRSTX – ICE TRSTX is controlled by the emulator
PD_OFF – ICD3 Disconnect pull-down resistor to ICD3 S16
ICD3
ICD3 – PD_ON Connect pull-down resistor to ICD3
PD_OFF – ICD2 Disconnect pull-down resistor to ICD2 S17
ICD2
ICD2 – PD_ON Connect pull-down resistor to ICD2
PD_OFF – ICD1 Disconnect pull-down resistor to ICD1 S18
ICD1
ICD1 – PD_ON Connect pull-down resistor to ICD1
PD_OFF – ICD0 Disconnect pull-down resistor to ICD0 S19
ICD0
ICD0 – PD_ON Connect pull-down resistor to ICD0
PD_OFF – BREAK Disconnect pull-down resistor to BREAK S20
BREAK
BREAK – PD_ON Connect pull-down resistor to BREAK
Default: S14 = INITX–ICE S15 = TRSTX–ICE S20 = BREAK-ON
S16 = OFF–ICD3 S17 = OFF–ICD2 S18 = OFF–ICD1
S20 = OFF–ICD0
Note:
1) If the in-circuit-emulator (ICE) is used, the default settings have to be used.
