EnablingthisoptionallowsyoutodeterminewhetheraStartUnitcommand
shouldbesenttotheSCSIdevicewhenthesystemisbooted.Thedefault
settingis｢yes｣.
Whenthisoptionissetto｢yes｣,thiscardcanstartSCSIdevicesone-by-oneat
bootuptime,reducingtheloadplacedonyourSERVER'spowersupply.
Whenitissetto｢no｣,allSCSIdevicesarestartedsimultaneouslyatbootup
time.MostSCSIdevicesneedtohavetheirjumperspresettorespondtothis
command.

Whenthisoptionissetto｢yes｣,theInt13hdevice(harddiskdrive)connected
withtheSCSIbusisrecognizedbytheHostAdapterBIOSandincorporated
intothesystemasasystemunitregardlessofinstallationofadevicedriver
software.Thedefaultsettingofthisoptionis｢yes｣.
Whenthisoptionissetto｢no｣,thesystemneedstoinstalladevicedriver
softwareforcontrollingtheSCSIdevice.
