3) Hold the batch firmly with both hands so that the both edges remain beveled,
and then unbend the batch as shown in the figure below.
4) Repeat steps 1) to 3) a few times.
5) Turn the batch 90 degrees to hold the other two sides of it, and then perform
steps 1 to 4 again.
2. Load the document onto the paper chute.
Load the batch so that the front side of the document (the first page when the number of
sheets is more than one) faces down (to the paper chute).
Reduce the number of sheets and load them so that a batch of the document is under the ref-
erence marks on the side guides.
HINT
When loading longer documents, pull out the paper chute extension.
