Before you travel
► Sw itch off the radio component for data security reasons. With data tra ffic via a wireless
connection, it is also po ssible for unauthorized third parties to rece ive data.
Information o n activating data encryption is provided in the docum entation
for your radio component.
► If you want to use y our Tablet PC during a flight, a sk the flight attendants to see if it is safe to use it.
When traveling in other countries
► If you are traveling abroad, check that the AC adapter can be operated with the
local A C v oltage. If t his is not the c ase, obtain the approp riate A C adapter for
your Tablet PC. Do not use any other converter!
► C heck whether the loca l AC voltage and the A C cable are compatible. If this is not
the case, buy an AC cable that suits the local conditions.
► Enquire with the appropriate government office of the country you will be trave lling in as to
whether you may operate the radio component integrated in your Tablet PC there.
► Take the necessary travel adapters with y ou when traveling abroad. Check in the following
table for which travel adapters you will need, or ask your travel organizer.
