Replacing the stylus tip
With use, the stylus tip may become worn or ma y pick up foreign particles that can scratch the screen.
A damaged o r worn tip may not move freely, causing unpredictable re sults when using the stylus.
If your st ylus exhibits these proble ms, replace the stylus tip. To do this, use the su pplied tool (1).

► To remove the tip, position it in the gap
between the two ends of the tool supplied.
► Pinch the tw o ends of the supplied tool
together so that the tip is firmly clasped,
then pull it from the barrel.
► Replace the tip with one of the n e w tips
that were supplied with y our stylus. Insert
the flat end of the tip into the barrel
and exerting gentle pressure, push it
in until it is firmly in place.
If the tip is worn or damaged, discard it.
Installing a stylus tether
Attach the stylus with a stylus tether to prevent accidentally d ropping it or losing it.
► Fas ten the stylus tether to the stylus eyelet and to the eyelet on the Tab let PC.
