12.2 Replacement of Fuse,
Battery
The fuse on the power cable protects the
system from reverse polarity of the ship’s
mains and equipment fault. If the fuse blows,
find the cause before replacing it. Use only a
3 A fuse. Using the wrong fuse will damage the
unit and void the warranty.
A battery installed on a circuit board inside
display unit preserves data when the power is
turned off. The life of the battery is about three
years. When the battery voltage is low the
battery icon (
) appears on the display. When
this happens, contact your dealer to request
replacement of the battery.
Use the correct fuse.
Use of a wrong fuse can cause fire or
equipment damage.
