  If the test does not start after applying the sample, it could be due to a defective test strip. In this case, repeat the test with a new test strip. Another reason may be that the sample was applied after the automatic switch-off (3 minutes after the last user action). Repeat the test with a new test strip, and apply the sample only when the flashing symbol appears on the display.

  An out-of-range control solution testing result with your Future Diagnostics Blood Glucose Meter may stem from several causes. You may have made an error during the test, so read the instructions thoroughly and repeat the test. Ensure the control solution vial was vigorously shaken before testing. Check that the control solution hasn't expired or become contaminated. The control solution, meter, and test strips should be at room temperature (68°F ~ 77°F / 20°C ~ 25°C) before testing. Also, the test strip might be defective, so repeat the test with a new one.
