Mounting the Controller
The DMC-40x0 with internal Galil amplifiers should be mounted to an additional heat sink. Thermally conductive
compound should be applied between the base plate and the heat sink in order to assist with heat dissipation. The
grating found on the side of the metal enclosure must not be obstructed in order to allow for proper air flow and
adequate heat dissipation.
The dimensions for each form-factor of the DMC-40x0 can be found in the Figure 3.1, Figure 3.2, Figure 3.3, and
Figure 3.4 below. Note – the four mounting holes (4x Ø.201) are depicted in each drawing.
