NTRODUCTION
This chapter contains a brief description of the physical attributes of the DS2000-IFR product and
describes the LEDs, pinouts, and specifications covering the device.

VERVIEW
The DS2000-IFR provides connectivity to Asynchronous and Ethernet traffic for on site use and acts as a
WAN access device. The DS2000-IFR comes in various configurations with dual WAN connections (DDS
or T1/E1), eight or ten Ethernet ports (with optional SFPs), and 16 Serial ports. The DS2000-IFR can also
be ordered with either a High or Low voltage power supply. The standard configurations of the DS2000-
IFR are shown in Figure 1-1.
