8.1 Introduction
A Time-of-Use (TOU) usage structure takes into account the quantity of energy used and
the time at which it was consumed. The EPM 9450/9650 meter's TOU function, available
with the GE Communicator software, is designed to accommodate a variety of
programmable rate structures. The EPM 9450/9650 meter's TOU function accumulates
data based on the time-scheme programmed into the meter.
