VOICE PROMPTS AND TEXT DISPLAY 
The voice prompts activate when the AED Pro lid is opened and help guide the operator through the rescue. The 
Responder AED Pro text display provides a visual display of most of the audible voice prompts.  
 
The following table lists the voice and text prompts and a description of when the prompts are issued.

repeated twice to initiate the rescue 
sequence. 
 
Prompt repeats until one pad is peeled off of

the patient. 
 
 
Prompt issued when better connectivity is 
required because impedance is too high. 
 
Prompt issued when the AED Pro is analyzing 
the cardiac rhythm of the patient.

preparing to deliver a defibrillation shock. 
 
Prompt repeats while AED Pro is charging. 
 
Prompt issued after the AED Pro is fully 
charged and ready to deliver the defibrillation 
shock. The RED Shock indicator flashes and 
the phrase repeats for 30 seconds or until the 
Shock button is pushed.

have defibrillation pads or ECG electrodes
