11.3 Light Pipe / O-ring / Ground Clip Replacement
1. Make sure the system power cord is unplugged from the power outlet.
2. Use the provided hex key tool to loosen the two screws on the mounting bracket in the rear side of the
system and detach the system from the dovetail rail of the bed (Refer to Figure 11-3).
3. Lay the system on its front side on a at surface. Use the provided hex key tool to remove the mounting
screw that attaches the light pipe ground clip to the device and detach the light pipe (Refer to Figure 11-
4).
4. To remove the O-rings, rotate the light pipe while pulling out the O-rings.
5. To remove the ground clip, hold the light pipe end close to the clip rmly and then use a pair of long nose
or pliers to pull out the clip.
6. Reverse steps to re-install.
CAUTION:
The LED light output is susceptible to dust and dirt. When the light pipe is detached from the
system, take care that dust or dirt does not get into the light pipe port on the light box. When
storing system with open light pipe port for an extended period, cover the light pipe port.
