WorkowFeatures
Workows contain a variety of EM data display capabilities, video and still-
image visual guides, and illustration/text references. A workow’s architect
determines its specic contents, the inspection parameters displayed, and
which parameters are adjustable by the user. This guide identies features that
may be found in workows.
Static Controls – Instructional purposes
1 Goto – Jumps to another panel in the workow
2 Image – photo or other image
3Video Player – opens a video player frame
PDF viewer – tool for viewing pdf documents
Rich Text – tool for viewing text
Parameter Controls – system wide settings effect
instrument operation. Note that channel based
parameter controls are accessed via View Controls
(see below)
4Numeric – set by sliders or number pad
5List – select from a drop down list
6Check Box – Boolean type parameters
7Command Buttons – perform a task (such as
freezing the display) or open a menu
View Controls – display and control of an individual
channel and its data. A dened menu opens with
the press of each button.
8Lissajous – an eddy current impedance plane
view (also known as a Spot view)
9Strip Chart – time/amplitude strip chart display
