 Port Statistics:
STP Statistics monitoring option allows user to view packet exchanging information
about ports exchanging BPDU packets at Reason Switches. Information allowed is as
follows:
o Port number shown in the row. Only ports enabled to transmit or
receive BPDU packets are shown;
o Transmitted BPDU packets, in number of BPDU messages. There
are four columns, where BPDU packet exchanging is divided in
MSTP, RSTP, STP and total TCN (Topology Change Notification)
messages transmitted on a given port;
o Received BPDU packets, in number of BPDU messages. There are
four columns, where BPDU packet exchanging is divided in MSTP,
RSTP, STP and total TCN (Topology Change Notification) messages
received on a given port;
o Discarded BPDU frames received on a given port, divided in
Unknown and Illegal BPDU frames received.
