9.5.9 Change the Compression Rate
Three different compression rates (HIGH, MID and LOW) are provided for you
to select different quality levels of recording incoming message. The lower the
compression rate, the higher the recording quality level attained, but the shorter the
total recording time available.
Using a handset:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select ANS. MACHINE.
2. Press and / to select TAM SETTINGS.
3. Press and / to select COMPRESSION (Available options: HIGH,
MEDIUM, or LOW).
4. Press and / to select your desired compression rate.
5. Press to confirm.
Using the base:
1. Press MENU/OK and / to select ANS. MACHINE.
2. Press MENU/OK and / to select TAM SETTINGS.
6. Press MENU/OK and / to select COMPRESSION (Available options: HIGH,
MEDIUM, or LOW).
3. Press MENU/OK and / to select your desired compression rate.
4. Press MENU/OK to confirm.
