Chord Language
It is normally set to English, where chord names are shown as A, B, C etc., this option
allows you to switch to the Italian system, where chord names are shown as Do, Re,
Mi etc.
Display Mode
Sets the display to either black on-white or white-on-black. This, in conjunction with
the LCD contrast slider, allows you set the display for optimum visibility in difficult
lighting conditions.
Last Sel. Memory
When this function is set to on, pressing a button in the PRESET FAMILIES or STYLE
FAMILIES will automatically recall the last sound or style selected. Sometimes you may
prefer for this not to happen. For example, if you want to search for a particular style,
you might not want the current style to change as soon as you hit a different STYLE
FAMILY button. Setting this function to OFF will stop this from happening.
BATTERY & RELEASE
This menu visualizes the OPERATING SYSTEM RELEASE DATA (see in the first section
of the manual - UPGRADE GENESYS XP THE OPERATING SYSTEM ). and the internal
back up battery charge status.
This is a service utility showing the devices connected to the Genesys xp.
This function resets different parts of the instrument. Performing one of these reset
functions will completely erase all of the existing data of the type selected, (style, sounds,
songs etc.), from the internal memory. It will not erase anything on the hard disk or
other storage devices. If you ever need to reset the entire instrument, use RESET ALL in
this screen.
The VIDEO TYPE option allows to change the video standard for PAL to NTSC, to
adapt the instrument in the country using different video standards.
