During a music performance with the Genesys xp, you may have a request from your audience for a particular song title. In
this case the instrument offers a fast search function to select the song in a minimum lapse of time. This is a very effective
function especially if your repertoire includes many pieces of music.
Fast songs searching in the DB list: function SEARCH
To simplify and increase the efficiency of this function we suggest
to connect to the Genesys xp a standard PC PS2 keyboard, using
the input connector in the rear panel of the instrument.
NOTE
Press the function button F6 SEARCH to enter the function

You can search a song by Number (real position in the hard
disk), by Artist and Name.
Select with the UP/DOWN CURSOR buttons the search field.

Press the function button G SEARCH NOW to start searching

After some seconds the searching result appears on the display

Select the file by simply pressing ENTER, then PLAY

The Genesys xp searches in the database the next song
in which compares the characters: ELVIS
It is possible to recall the SEARCH function also song play.
