NEW MONO WAVE RECORDING MENU
This option has exactly the same features as the previuos menu except for the mono sampling of the wave. Use this function to
generate a smaller audio file than stereo.
MONO SAMPLE RECORDING
This option allows to sample a mono sample. This sample can be use to be loaded in the sample RAM area of the Genesys xp.
In this way you can acquire exernal sounds using the MIC/LINE input of the instrument. This function also permit to sample the
other resource of the Genesys xp : sequencer, audio CD , Mp3.
Press F1 REC to start sample

Press STOP once completed. Type a name for your sample
then press ENTER to confirm

Press again ENTER

The instrument open automatically the Sample Editor page

At this point the external sample can be processed using all the Genesys xp synthesys resources: filters, envelopes, modulations etc.
The sound you obtain in this way is stored in the Genesys xp sound database.
