To use the genesys xp as a stand alone unit Page29

F3 DETUNE

This menu allows to add a detune value to a track. This can be used for example to give more "fatness" simulating the analog

synth sounds.

Press the function button F3 DETUNE

Select the track using the UP/DOWN CURSOR buttons

Set the detune value using the DIAL (or the INC/DEC buttons)

Press STORE then ENTER to confirm editing

F4 RANDOM PITCH

This menu allows to add a random pitch value to a track. This can be used for example to give more reality simulating the

analog synth oscillators.

Press the function button F4 RANDOM PITCH

Select the track using the UP/DOWN CURSOR buttons

Set the random pitch value using the DIAL (or the INC/DEC buttons)

Press STORE then ENTER to confirm editing

F5 TOUCH SENSITIVITY

This menu allows to disable the track's dynamic control from the external MIDI keyboard you are using.

Press the function button F5 TOUCH SENS

Select the track using the UP/DOWN CURSOR buttons

Disable or Enable Touch Sens. using the DIAL (or the INC/DEC buttons)

Press STORE then ENTER to confirm editing

The TOUCH SENS is set

ON in all the tracks by

the Genesys xp default

setup

NOTE: remember to press the button PART on the main panel to swich the tracks from 9 to 16 (then 17- 24, 25-32).
