THE HARMONY SECTION
The harmony section generates, using your voice as carrier signal, up to four backing voices. The result is a very interesting
vocal ensemble effect. The harmony voices are taken by the MIDI events received by the Genesys xp, played in realtime by
a MIDI keyboard or sent by a song from the sequencer.

Enables disables a copy of the
main voice

Enables disables a octave lower
copy of the main voice

There are six voices at your disposal
in the vocal genius but only four of
them can work simultaneously

The pan of each voice can be
edited
F2 PAN
Shows the edit menu
F3 EDIT
Change the harmony mode
F5-F6-F7
Locks the harmony setting
F8 LOCK

Press the function buttons
from A to F to enable or
disable the selected voice

Each of the harmony voices has
an independent volume to bal-
ance the global response of the
voices. Select the voices with
the UP/DOWN CURSOR then
modify the volume value using
the DIAL
F2 PAN
Press F2 to enter in the harmony voices pan edit page
Each of the harmony voices has
an independent pan setting. In
this way it is possile to add
deepness to your "virtual choir".
Select the voices with the UP/
DOWN CURSOR then modify
the value using the DIAL

Lowest note of chord

Second highest note of chord
Main
A copy of your actual sing-
ing voice, used to double the
