4.2.3 Using the 6-Pin Connector
The 6-pin connector can be used for different purposes:
• To connect the charger.
• For time synchronization and for diurnal correction - use 6-pin to 6-pin cable connected from
console to console.
• For RS-323 data transfer, either in Real time Transmission or after the survey.
• For external triggering.
• For upgrading internal software.
• For any combinations of the above with proper cable (contact GEM systems for available
options).
