What to do if my Generac Power Systems EcoGen 15kW has no AC output?
    • K
      Kenneth MendozaAug 6, 2025
If your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator shows no AC output, first ensure the generator MLCB (generator disconnect) is set to ON (CLOSED). If the engine may be warming up, check the controller screen to verify its status. For a generator internal failure, assistance from an Authorized Independent Service Dealer (IASD) is needed.

What to do if my Generac Power Systems EcoGen 15kW Portable Generator engine cranks but will not start?
    • M
      Melanie GomezAug 14, 2025
If your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator engine cranks but won't start, several factors could be at play. Start by replenishing the fuel or turning on the fuel valve. Ensure the fuel selector is in the correct position. Clean, inspect the spark plug gap, and replace the spark plug(s) if necessary. Also, check and adjust the fuel pressure and reset the valve clearance if it is out of adjustment. If the fuel solenoid is faulty, replenish the fuel or turn on the fuel valve.

Why does my Generac Power Systems EcoGen 15kW engine start hard and run rough?
    • K
      Katie LopezAug 22, 2025
If your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator engine starts hard and runs rough, start by inspecting and cleaning the air cleaner. Next, clean and inspect the spark plug gap, replacing the spark plug(s) if needed. Verify the fuel pressure to the regulator: it should be 10–12 in water column (2.49–2.99 kPa) for LP gas and 3.5–7.0 in water column (0.87–1.74 kPa) for NG. Make sure the fuel conversion valve is in the correct position and adjust the valve clearance if it is out of adjustment. If there's an internal engine issue, contact an IASD for assistance.

How to fix a Generac Power Systems EcoGen 15kW Portable Generator when the engine will not crank?
    • M
      Mr. Donald LeonardAug 29, 2025
If the engine of your Generac Power Systems Portable Generator will not crank, the possible causes include a blown fuse, loose, corroded, or faulty battery cables, or a discharged battery. To address these: * Correct any short circuit condition by replacing the 7.5 A fuse in the generator control panel. If the fuse continues to blow, contact an IASD. * Tighten, clean, or replace loose, corroded, or faulty battery cables as necessary. * Charge or replace the battery if it is discharged.
