Chamber Temperature Control
Select from the options:
Wait for Chamber to Heat
To prevent high boiling point solvents condensing on the chamber walls, the vacuum
chamber pre-heats before starting a run.
Wait for Chamber to Cool
The system waits for the vacuum chamber to cool before evaporating volatile solvents or
mixtures that may be prone to bumping (this is unnecessary for most applications).
function.
Automatic Control
To optimise the cryo-pumping effect within the evaporator and slightly speed up the
evaporation process for some solvents, the system continues to heat the chamber after
the run commences.
Note: When waiting to cool, the chamber temperature will not drop below the ambient
temperature. If in doubt contact Genevac Applications Support for advice.
