  If your Genevac Laboratory Equipment samples aren't drying, several factors could be at play. First, there might be an IR lamp fault; refer to the section addressing IR lamp or fan failure. A SampleGuard fault could also be the cause; consult the section on SampleGuard errors. Additionally, a poor vacuum could be the culprit; check the vacuum connectors, and if you can't locate the leak, contact Genevac service. Lastly, aqueous samples might be freezing due to evaporative cooling; in this case, set a controlled pressure to 8 mbar for aqueous runs.

Why am I getting an 'Out of balance error' on my Genevac HT-4X Laboratory Equipment?

  If you encounter an 'Out of balance error' with your Genevac Laboratory Equipment, it could be due to a couple of reasons. At start-up, before the rotor reaches full speed, a rotor imbalance might have been detected. Ensure all sample holders and swings are correctly loaded, and verify that all opposing holders are balanced within 10 g. Alternatively, an IR lamp might have blown, or the cooling fan might have failed; in this case, contact Genevac Service.

How to open the lid of Genevac HT-4X?

  If the lid of your Genevac Laboratory Equipment won't open, it could be because the rotor is still spinning, or the chamber is under vacuum. Wait for the system to stop. Another possibility is a pressure sensor failure. In this case, switch the evaporator off, wait five seconds, and switch it on again. Then, try to open the lid again. If the problem persists, contact your Genevac representative.
