Systems with a quick release connector
Disconnect the waste solvent hose and breather hose from the waste solvent container.
Remove the cap and static dissipating rod from the waste solvent container as shown.
Systems with a quarter turn valve
Close the valve, loosen the red cap on top of the waste solvent container (approximately one
turn, counter-clockwise) to release the drain pipe then pull the drain pipe out of the container.
Pull the breather pipe out of the container and disconnect the electrical earth strap from the
container lid. The waste solvent container can now be removed for emptying.
When refitting the waste container, make sure the solvent drain and breather hoses are
connected and that the static dissipating rod is electrically connected. Place the waste
solvent container on its tray and close the waste solvent container door.
Note: The system refuses to start if the waste solvent container door is not closed.
