3.4.2 Remove the inspiratory channel and
tube
• Press the latches and lift the inspiratory
channel upwards. Disconnect the connector
muffs.
• Disconnect the tube and remove the
bacterial filter. Discard the filter to
hazardous waste.
3.4.3 Disinfection/sterilization procedures
Clean the inspiratory channel and tube the
same way as the expiratory cassette. See
page Routine cleaning.
The inspiratory channel will last at least 20
cycles.
3.4.4 Insert the inspiratory channel and
tube
• Put a new bacterial filter in position and
connect the filter to the tube.
• Put the connector muffs in position.
