5.7.3 Checking the dosing amount 5.3
WARNING!
Only to be carried out by authorized staff.
Check that the correct amount is dosed. Adjust if necessary.
1. Before settings can be defined, the machine must be
calibrated with the agent used in the machine, see
7.14.8 Calibrating detergent dosing.
2. Dispense detergent or rinse-aid into a measuring beaker.
Check that the suction hose and pump are full before the
check.
3. Push the suction hose down into the beaker and measure the
consumption during an entire cleaning program. Lift up the
hose when reading the volume. Adjust if necessary and
repeat the measurement until the amount conforms to the
manufacturer’s recommendations, see 7.14.8 Calibrating
detergent dosing.
4. If necessary, adjust the dosing time in the service program.
Note: The maximum amount per dosing is 500 ml.
5.7.4 Checking the empty container alarm 5.4
Lift up the empty container alarm. Handling alarm Det 1 low level
or Det 2 low level should appear in the display when a program
starts depending on the dosing alternative. In the worst case, a
missed alarm signal for an empty container can result in the
process running without the cleaning and/or rinse-aid being added,
with dirty items as a result. Clean the empty container alarm and
replace if necessary.
Note: Before the program is started, all transport hoses
must be filled with detergent. There must be no air pockets
in the hoses.
