Configuring the answering machine on the network for fast access
Precondition: You cannot use your network provider’s answering machine on the net-
work unless you have requested this from your network provider.
As soon as the answering machine’s phone number is entered on the network, the fast
access capability is available to you: By pressing and holding the
1 key, you can dial
the answering machine directly on the network.
Enter/delete phone number for the answering machine on the network
This setting is now valid for all registered handsets and the base.
at the base:

Open the menu.
s Base Settings OK
Select the menu item and confirm.
s Settings OK
Select the menu item and confirm.

Enter system PIN if required (page 78).

Select the menu item and confirm.
s Network Mailb. OK
Select the menu item and confirm. If the phone
number has been assigned, it will appear on the
screen.
