For a thrombasthemia patient, it is important to determine whether measurement of the blood
pressure shall be done automatically. The determination should be based on the clinical
evaluation.
4.1.1 Accurate Measurement Way
1.Adopt a comfortable sitting position, use back and arms to support the
body.
2.Place your elbow on a table, the palm faces up.
3.The cuff is level with your heart.
4.Feet flat on the floor, and do not cross your legs.
Note
Do not speak or move during measuring.
Do not user mobile devices such as cellphone near the device when measuring.
Measurement results may be different due to different cuff position.
Do not touch the device, cuff or extension tube during measuring.
Refer to Section 1.1 for the contraindications of NIBP measurement.
When measuring on pediatric or neonatal patients, be sure to select the correct measurement
