Unlocking from Default Combination
Follow these steps to unlock from the default combination:
1. Press the default combination, one button at a time. You will hear a beep following each key press.
See your lock manual for the default combination.
2. If the combination is entered correctly and you press #, you will hear a double beep, and the internal lock
solenoid will click, indicating that the lock is open and the vault handle can now turn.
3. If you enter the wrong combination, 3 beeps will sound. If the correct combination is not entered within 4
consecutive attempts, a 10-minute delay or lock-out will begin. During this time, the LED at the 10 o’clock
position on the face of the lock will flash at 10-second intervals. In addition, any key press will respond with
a triple-beep. Any attempt to use the lock while it is in this mode will cause the 10-minute timer to reset.
Warning: Always work with the vault door open while orienting yourself to the lock and making changes to the
lock programming (including changing the combination). Do not close the vault until the lock has been thoroughly
tested. Global Payments does not program a master combination.
Changing to a New Combination
Combinations are required to be six digits. Follow these steps to enter a new combination:
1. Begin by entering 6 2 2 *
2. Enter the existing (default) combination one time and press #. You will hear 5 beeps.
3. Enter the new combination and press #. You will hear 2 beeps.
4. Enter the new combination a second time and press #. You will hear 2 more beeps.
5. If the procedure is not performed correctly, you will hear 3 beeps at the end, and the lock will revert back
to the previous combination.
** Important warning **
Remember to always test lock functions with the door open. Do not close and lock the door
until you are certain that the lock is functioning properly.
