Lactate Tests
Your meter provides you with one measuring mode: General.
● Insert a test strip to turn on the meter. The screen will display “
”,
a flashing “
” and “LAC”.
● After obtaining the first drop of blood, wipe it off. Squeeze again to
obtain another drop of whole blood sample for the test. It is important
that you perform the test IMMEDIATELY after drawing the second
blood sample.
Reference Values
Your meter provides you with plasma equivalent results displayed in
millimoles of lactate per liter of blood (mmol/L). The typical range is 0.3
to 2.4 mmol/L
