Platform Controls Operation and Test
Lower Platform
• Press and hold the LOWER / RAISE switch in the DOWN position on the control
panel until the desired platform height is reached.
Test Operation
• Lower the platform to the stowed position.
• Releaseing the switch will stop descent.
• Pressing the Emergency Stop Switch will stop descent.
Joystick Operation
• Function speed is proportional and is controlled by the movement of the Joystick.
• The further it is moved forward, the faster the speed will be.
• They Joystick returns to the neutral position (center) when released.
Select PLATFORM Operation
Check that the area above and around the machine is clear from obstructions,
electrical power lines, debris, holes, and persons, before operating the machine
Be sure that the upper and lower EMERGENCY STOP Switches are reset (out).
From the Lower Control Box:
Turn Key Switch to the LEFT, selecting the PLATFORM position
Operate from Platform
• Press and hold the START switch in the UP posiiton- release the switch when the
engine starts
• If equipped, press and hold the Horn Button to verify proper operation.
Overload Light
• Light ON is an indicator that too much weight is on the platform.
• An audible alarm will sound from the Upper / Lower Control Box.
• Remove weight from the platform to restore function and continue.
Emergency Stop
• Press the EMERGENCY STOP switch at any time to stop all machine functions.
• Pull switch OUT to reset.
Activation of EMERGENCY STOP switch will apply brakes immediately.
This may cause unexpected platform movement as the machine comes to a
sudden stop. Brace yourself and secure objects on the platform during
operation of machine
