Pass the take-up rail through the throat of the machine. Make sure the long half of the take-
up rail is on the right side.

Place the rail into the grooves on each of the frame sides. The two rectangular notches in the
rails must point down.

Open the take-up rail caps by sliding them outward, following the direction of the embossed
arrows.
