Pressure Relief Procedure
Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure whenever
you see this symbol.
1. Stop actuation of the manual pump.
2. Place the nozzle back into the supply or waste
drum.
3. Open the nozzle to relieve pressure.
4. Allow the pressure to bleed off.
Pump Operation
Reset the meter to zero by pressing the Reset button.
Insert the nozzle into the fill hole. Open the nozzle and
operate the pump. When finished, close the nozzle and
wipe off any excess fluid. Place the nozzle into the
opening in the outlet housing.
If the meter fails to register, it may be due to a low
battery. See the Service section of the Electronic Meter
manual.
Models with Non-Drip Nozzle

The non-drip nozzle can be set in the automatic
position by turning it two or more turns
counter-clockwise.

Recycling and Disposal
End of Product Life
At the end of the product’s useful life, dismantle and
recycle it in a responsible manner.
• Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, page 4.
• Drain and dispose of fluids according to applicable
regulations. Refer to the material manufacturer’s
Safety Data Sheet.
• Deliver remaining product to a recycling facility.
WARNING
PRESSURIZED FLUID HAZARD
This equipment stays pressurized until pressure is
manually relieved. To help prevent serious injury from
pressurized fluid, such as splashing fluid, follow
Pressure Relief Procedure when you stop pumping
and before cleaning, checking or servicing the
equipment.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Wear appropriate protective equipment when in the
work area to help prevent serious injury, including
eye injury, hearing loss, inhalation of toxic fumes, and
burns.
NOTICE
To avoid contamination when changing drums, do
not let the pump’s intake valve touch the floor or any
dirty surface. Contamination can damage the pump
and cause wear to the parts.
